Mitch Suggests a Raptor Site and Inwood Nest Detail

Correspondent Mitch Nusbaum, hawk watcher and astronomy buff, sent in a tip about, as he calls it, a newfangled Raptor Migration Site. www.derbyhill.org/ Click on "photos" at the site for "belly shots" of raptors to help identify them in flight. Mitch said,

"Hi, Just read the news of the IHP Eyasses. Can't wait to go see them. You are invited to monitor the Raptor migration along the shore of Lake Ontario. go to www.derbyhill.org to see the tremendous variety of raptors making their way to their breeding grounds. Last Thursday there was a dark morph Red Tail flyover, something which might also appear in Wisconson. Check it out!" -MN

Thanks Mitch and I'm going to be looking up trying to catch the raptor migration on this flyway in Wisconsin starting tomorrow.

By the way, not only did Alice Danna and the Parkie see the two eyasses in the Inwood Park nest, they watched as a parent fed them besides.

(Photos just aren't downloading at the moment will try again later.)
