More Than a Pair, Viewed from the Hawk Bench

Lola watches as Pale Male flies from the nest to take on an intruder.
Hordes of hawk action took place today viewed from the Hawk Bench. So much, in fact, it's going to take some time to try to make sense of the field notes. Therefore much more to come later tonight!

Glad you had some action by the boat pond. It took me an hour to find Tristan up at the Great Hill today, and the fun lasted less than ten minutes.

Thanks, it was about time. I was getting a little frustrated as things had been a little slow in the Red-tail department for me the last few days. But be careful what you wish for, we could have used you downtown today. There were three of us working together and we still couldn't keep up with what was going on overall during a number of episodes, let alone always knowing which hawk was doing what.

Okay, okay, I admit it. Great fun, though!
