UPDATE: DOWNTOWN PLAZA HAWKS, OCTAVIA, AND PALE MALE

Just in from one of our main watchers in field, Stella Hamilton, "The Downtown Plaza Hawks were seen mating and putting twigs in 3 different places at the Plaza while Octavia was sitting on eggs."

Taking into account this bit of news, it appears that both pairs are currently going about their bonded pair business, whatever extracurricular activities may have been occurring previously.

Stay tuned.

Well, according to Stella, Octavia is sitting on the nest. Whether she has eggs or not isn't within the realm of our knowledge as there is absolutely no way for us to see into the nest bowl to check. And gosh darn it, Pale Male and his mates just never share that bit of information with us. It's one of the "joys" of the "927" nest. Until the white heads pop up we've no idea whatsoever how many eggs and then how many eyasses there will possibly be each season.
