FLASH..6/05/06 .BOTH 5TH AVENUE EYASSES OFF THE NEST!!!

LONGTIME HAWKWATCHER STELLA HAMILTON REPORTS:

Both of the eyasses on the Fifth Avenue nest of Pale Male and Octavia fledged today.  

 Stella believes the big moments may have occurred during the Israel Day Parade.  It was a rainy day and few hawkwatchers were braving the weather in the park so it appears the youngsters flew the coop without the observation of the humans who ordinarily have their eyes glued to the nest at this time of year.
