Cathedral Fledge Rests Upside Down

Photograph by Stella Hamilton
This eyass has been climbing the fence and now he's resting. He climbs with his feet and flaps with his wings. This is very tiring and he keeps trying and trying to make it over the top to the other side where the nest is. So far no dice, so he holds on with his feet, hangs down for a rest, and then goes for another bout. For more on the The Cathedral's double fledge, scroll down the next three posts for eyewitness views from Stella Hamilton.

P.S. More photos to come as I get them uploaded.
